A Message from The Healthcare Advocacy and Leadership Organization (HALO)

LifeSite News supports Indiana's Senate Bill 74, reporting that this bill prohibits the employer from requiring an employee “to receive any immunization if the immunization is medically contraindicated (inadvisable) for the employee or receiving the immunization is against the employee’s religious beliefs or conscience.” The law also protects “prospective employees” on the same grounds, and “[a]llows for a civil action against an employer for a violation.” [Source.]
HALO urges residents of Indiana to contact their state legislators and ask them to support this important bill protecting the bodily integrity and conscience rights of individuals in the workplace. If you live in a state other than Indiana, please urge your legislators to propose such a bill. Legislation to protect employees from being coerced to receive an unwanted vaccine is particularly important now, when everyone is being pressured and propagandized to take the COVID vaccines as "the best hope of ending the pandemic."
It is merely a "hope," not a fact, that vaccines will end the pandemic. Furthermore, the vaccines have a higher than 2% side effect rate, which is higher than the adverse effects of the virus itself. Side effects of the vaccine have included "unable to perform normal daily activities, unable to work, required care from doctor or health care professional" as well as some reported deaths.

The mission of the Healthcare Advocacy and Leadership Organization is to promote, protect, and advocate for the rights of the medically vulnerable through direct patient and family interactions; through intercessory prayer; through community education and awareness programs; and through promotion and development of concrete *"life-affirming healthcare"* alternatives for those facing the grave consequences of healthcare rationing and unethical practices, especially those at risk of euthanasia and assisted suicide

*"Life-affirming healthcare" is defined as medical care in which the paramount principle is the sanctity of life, which means that the life and safety of each person come first and each person receives medical care across their lifespan based on their need for care and never with an intention to hasten death, regardless of their abilities or perceived "quality of life."
